Opened in the fall of 2021, EPA Center in East Palo Alto is a much loved arts center bringing visual and performing arts, technology, and maker spaces to the community. The user audience includes all ages from preschoolers to adults.

In response to safety concerns about navigating the many pedestrian level height changes, we created a color plan for the central courtyard hardscape areas, sloped lawn and amphitheater zones. The buildings colorful architecture offered a roadmap to selecting a vibrant palette to fit seamlessly on the site.
