1201 Pine

Project: 1201 Pine Street
Location: Nob Hill District, San Francisco, CA

How do you articulate twenty-three cherubs and two goddesses in color on a 1909 Victorian building designed by the famous self-taught architect James Francis Dunne?

When we made our initial site visit to survey the building, we knew it had an architectural pedigree. The building is notable for its exuberant ornamentation. Given the prominent corner location, the dramatic six-color palette was selected to direct your eye to highlight the unique architectural details.
