Fillmore Center

Project: Fillmore Center
Location: Fillmore District, San Francisco, CA

Can one pink and grey color palette work for a seven block mixed use redevelopment project?

Not if you want to fit into San Francisco’s urban fabric. The variety of colors selected reduced the perceived scale of the complex. The towers feature a palette based on natural stone and masonry. Bay windows and balconies are mid range hues, while the most vibrant colors were placed at the pedestrian level to enhance the street experience.

With the new colors, occupancy went from 80 to 96%.
